Citizenship

 

Citizenship section is responsibles in processing the application of Brunei Darussalam nationality. The section also provides on the confirmation on Brunei nationality status in according to the provision under the Brunei Nationality Act, Chapter 15.

Application of Brunei citizenship is based on the following categories:

·         Section 4(1) Brunei Nationality Act

·         Section 6(1) Brunei Nationality Act

·         Section 5(1) Brunei Nationality Act

·         Section 8(1) Brunei Nationality Act

·         Section 5(6) Brunei Nationality Act

It is advised for the person to attend directly to the department's headquarters or any of its office branches within four districts.
